50The 50 in 50 Group

Come all the way in, sit all the way down, and stay.

We're a group of Alcoholics Anonymous that meets on Zoom. If you've been to AA before and thought "that's not for me," we might be for you. There's a seat open.

Need proof of attendance?

For a court, probation, a treatment program, or work.

  1. Turn your camera on during the meeting.
  2. Near the start, send a private chat to a co-host with your email.
  3. A co-host emails you a note saying you attended a meeting of the 50 in 50 Group of Alcoholics Anonymous on that date.

Women and non-binary meeting

Wednesdays, in its own Zoom room with its own hosts. The men's meeting runs at the same hour in the main room.

On every ride: no harassment, intolerance, racism, sexism, threats, or bullying. Tell any co-host and they'll take care of it.

Here for someone else?

Our meetings are open, so you can sit in and listen. For help for yourself as a family member or friend, Al-Anon is made for you.

How the bus got started

In the pandemic, a few of us decided to visit an AA meeting in all 50 states in 50 days, over Zoom, Google Hangouts, or whatever worked. It turned the idea of having to do the meetings online from an obligation into a privilege.

AA is different everywhere, and we found joy in connecting with strangers with problems like ours. Eventually we became our own group. We still travel, and we meet throughout the week. You don't need to go to 50 meetings in 50 states to ride with us.

Ride your own 50 in 50

Go to an AA meeting in every state, on Zoom or in person, and stamp each one here. Most groups list their online meetings on the Online Intergroup.
